The Lagos Fringe Pre-selectors Committee Program. The program is aimed at training young filmmakers interested in building careers as film festival programmers in the art of evaluating films based on film tone and form following the festival's theme and purpose.

The preselection committee will be comprised of committed individuals with a proven interest in fiction and non-fiction cinema. This opportunity is suitable for those with some experience in film programming and curation or people interested in building a career in
film programming and curation.

Pre-selectors will be expected to watch a few hours of motion picture short films (across animation, live action, and documentary,) for a few weeks and rate them according to the provided criteria. They will also be required to join virtual meetings where they will receive mentorship from industry professionals. Candidates can be based anywhere but should be fluent in English (written and verbal).

The role is voluntary and participants will be rewarded with

2. Exclusive festival passes to all events at the festival (for committee members who can attend).
