The Lagos Fringe reintroduces the Young Critics and Reviewers residency Programme aimed at equipping young critics and reviewers across Africa in the art of strategically, critically analyzing various forms of art. The forms of art include Film, Visual arts, literacy, music and Live performances.

The goal of this program is to use constructive art criticism as a tool for challenging harmful stereotypes and narratives about the African continent.

The Lagos Fringe poses a great opportunity for the participants to not only be taught on various forms of art criticisms but to also gain hands-on experience while critiquing the various forms of art expressions at the Lagos Fringe festival.

The Lagos Fringe Young Arts Critics and Reviewers Program which was launched in 2022 to nurture and develop the critical thinking and writing skills of young individuals in analyzing and interpreting various forms of art has been redesigned to include a residency & mentorship program.
